NOW, within minutes of a decision to deploy, these versatile, mobile barriers can be fully operational, protecting targeted facilities! They can be towed to a deployment location with a standard pick-up truck, placed in position by 2-3 personnel, or helicopter airlifted to remote locations. Easy set-up, allows two persons less than 20 minutes to deploy. One person can operate them manually, or by electric power.
Based on the changing terrorist threat, you can now enhance or move *Vehicle Check-Points* or can control traffic inside or outside of a previously non-secure or already secure perimeter. You can quickly create vehicle access / egress points where they are needed, whether that is on a private road or on a state, municipal, or federal highway.
Likewise, within minutes of a decision to “Step-Down”, the NMSB XV Mobile Barrier can be moved to storage or to a new location. In addition to using these barriers to thwart car & truck bomb attacks against targeted facilities, they can also be used to support nuclear evacuation plans, secure disaster scenes, maintain a quarantine, or to control traffic into large public events.
