The NMSB III-d is a flush-mount surface barrier for severe-threat security facilities. Flush-mount barrier creates no obstacles on existing roadway and is ideal for snowplow passage. The NMSB III-d is certified to stop a 15,000-pound vehicle traveling at 50 mph. The average barrier opening is 10’ (3.05 meters). In the up position the top of the barrier is 33” (83.8 cm) above the road surface. Hot-dip galvanized for years of service. EPA approved, self-contained remote housing unit. Standard barrier deployment time is 3-5 seconds (available <1 second E-up option) at an average of 8 full cycles per minute. Manual Operation is available with the aid of hydraulics or electric motors. NO weight restrictions. Customs sizes and configurations are available.
