NBI Bollards
are as easy as A, B,
C.
Architectural bollard
design brings desired environmental and aesthetic enhancements to
perimeter security, securing perimeter access without providing
a sense of social disorder and active alarm measures.
Built to last,
NBI, US State Department K12-L2 crach certified
bollards are constructed with superior quality steel. In addition,
NBI is the only barrier firm, in which its standard
feature includes hot-dip galvanization, additionally extending the
durability of the bollard barrier system for at least 15 years.
Controlled-access, NBI
bollard’s multi-function solutions stop unwarranted vehicle
access and enable bi-directional, stopping power, providing perimeter-security
access either as a stand-alone system or integrated with the most
advanced of access-control technologies.
NBI is the first barrier
firm to offer two unique types of automated-hydraulic barrier systems.
› Traditional bollard barrier systems:
sets of bollards to operate simultaneously by one hydraulic power
unit.
› NBI self-contained bollard system:
incorporates a single gallon hpu unit with each individual bollard
to create a self-contained, self-operating bollard barrier system.
Multiple bollard installations become non-reliant on any singular
hydraulic operating unit. The self-contained bollards remain independently
engaged during periods of individual hydraulic failure, continuing
effective operation of the bollards not affected by hydraulic power
down time. This permits perimeter security to remain intact and
automatic access-control an option. Multiple units may be configured
to operate independently or as a set barrier system.

NBI possesses a bollard
solution to thwart any perimeter-security-vehicle-threat.
› Automated-Hydraulic / Manual Retractable
Bollards: Traditionally a 3 bollard / set system,
required to secure a road access width of 12 – 16 feet. Versatile
configurations available by NBI engineers. Properly
maintained, NBI hydraulic bollards may be continuously
operated for maximum-access-control conditions requiring deployment
of the system after each vehicle entry/exit.
› Removable Bollards:
Restricts vehicle-access, as threat levels require. Permits security
for occasional and emergency access.
› Permanent Bollards:
Fixed perimeter protection when vehicle access is not a requirement.
Often installed as part of complete system integration with hydraulic
or manual vehicle-access-control barrier systems. Modernly designed
in the center of security-planters, to provide for crash rated perimeter
beautification protection.
Bollard tactical applications include
but or not limited to:
Government agencies, military bases / barracks, laws enforcement
facilities, office buildings, parking facilities, financial institutions,
hospitals, public & residential driveways as a traffic control
device, correctional facilities, pedestrian areas, sport stadiums,
or wherever perimeter security and a safe environment is priority.
